SFERA runs a range of activities from short term social projects led by the participation of international volunteers, to long term projects such as the European Voluntary Service, and national voluntary and charitable events working to support disadvantaged people. Over 2,500 volunteers annually participate in the many activities that SFERA organise.
As elected Chairman, Andrey is responsible for the long-term strategic planning of the organisation, developing policy, managing relations with regional, national and international partners, as well as the day to day organization of SFERA. He is also responsible for liaising with government officials and city and regional authorities.
In addition, Andrey is a Committee Chairman of the Youth Parliament of the Nizhny Novgorod region. This is a voluntary post.
