Natalia is Trainer and Development Director at two Russian NGOs: “Nizhny Novgorod Voluntary Service” and “Sfera” inter-regional youth voluntary movement.
NNVS is an influential NGO in the Volga Federal District, working to promote voluntarism and charity work on a regional and inter-regional level. Yearly, roughly 5000 habitants of the Nizhniy Novgorod region apply to NNVS services. NNVS is a member of the Charitable Committee of the Nizhny Novgorod region, which promotes the interests of the voluntary sector to the regional government.
Sfera is an international volunteer organization, promoting short-term and long-term voluntary projects in 14 Russian regions. Sfera represents the interests of Russian NGOs in the Alliance of European Voluntary Service organizations and Service Civil International. Sfera annually hosts at least two international social events, receives 200 foreign volunteers to work in the region, and sends abroad about 500 Russian volunteers.
Natalia is responsible for strategic development as well as the delivery of projects, recruitment and professional development in both organizations. Natalia works to build relationships with foreign countries and other regions within Russia, and designs and delivers training programmes to raise awareness about volunteering and charity.
