Muzaffar Khusnidinov

Muzaffar is a finance professional working at an international consultancy firm and specialising in enterprise resource planning in Uzbekistan. He has an MBA from Korea University and solid experience working for large audit firms. Muzaffar has broad experience in business process optimisation and management accounting. He has certificates in Islamic finance and banking from Islamic Development Bank and Australian Center for Islamic Finance. He also teaches managerial accountancy at Management Development Institute Singapore in Tashkent based on ACCA curriculum.

Muzaffar’s action plan is to overcome challenges related to access to financing by developing Islamic finance and banking in Uzbekistan. He intends to create an association of relevant organisations to focus on education and research in this field with the aim of building a solid regulatory framework for the Islamic finance industry in the region and promote public discussions of legal acts to propose best practice. His aim is to provide appropriate services for the Muslim population of Uzbekistan (about 88%) which in turn will boost investments and economic activity in Uzbekistan.
