Hazar Khasawneh

Hazar is a managing partner in Lead Advisory Group a newly established Law Firm based in Jordan that will offer a wide range of legal services including litigation, legal research and training. She has more than 14 years of experience between legal practice and as a consultant in rule of law, human rights law and justice reform. Her particular experience focused on legal research, civil litigation services and serving in advisory position for government and non-government organizations in the MENA region including Law & Arbitration Centre, Adv. Daifallah Masadeh & associates, Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, the American Bar Association, the National Centre for Human Rights in Jordan. Hazar also works for EY providing Performance Improvement Advisory services to Government & public Sector focusing on strategy and legal compliance.

In her career she always sought to use the law as an instrument for social change and development focusing on bringing the norms and standards of human rights and the rule of law into development process and support capacity building in good governance in the MENA region with emphasize on areas of judiciary, labor, health, education and gender.

Hazar holds a BA degree in Law from Jordan University and LLM in International Human Rights Law from Essex University and has been a member of the Jordan Bar Association (JBA) since 1998.
