Rabih Dandachli is an elected political official for a Lebanese political party in Beirut. He is currently working to increase his party’s profile whilst also tackling internal divisions within Lebanon’s diverse society. Prior to his election in March 2013 Rabih was Head of Political and Public Affairs at a Lebanese Students League, a national organisation representing both school and university students across Lebanon, where he was responsible for advocacy, campaigning and external relations with other organisations, particularly political parties where he promoted participation and awareness among young people.
Rabih’s Action Plan is to introduce new policy guidelines and practices within the Lebanese education system in order to better manage cultural and religious diversity among young people in Lebanon. His ultimate aim is to promote religious and cultural tolerance in order to develop social cohesion and protect human rights.
